Amsterdam

Ello!! After a long day and a half of traveling and four flights, we landed in Amsterdam yesterday and FINALLY had time to rest!! Our hotel was really nice but a lot smaller than Canadian hotel rooms which was obviously expected. After Connor napped FOREVER, we decided to take a trip to downtown Amsterdam and it was actually the craziest thing I've ever experienced in my life! First of all there are people everywhere and young people for that matter and tons of bikes. Everyone bikes everywhere and there are even huge parking lots for them. And there's no rules in Amsterdam, just cars and bikes and people everywhere. The canals downtown were really cool and made the city really beautiful!!!! Besides that however, downtown was a little sketchy haha, with the red light district and all, but we walked through it just to say that we did! We had dinner at a little Italian place and went back to our hotel, and now this morning were at the airport getting ready to board our flight to kilimanjaro!! Just thought I'd update everyone to let you all know were alive and having fun!!!
